The company is headed by Ian and Lisa Andrews, both Accredited Horticulture and Landscaping Technologists graduating from Humber College’s Applied Arts and Technology Program. Lisa also holds a BA with honours that includes training in vernacular architecture. Continued education is important to us and our staff.
At Greenwood we are also Certified Irrigation Technicians. This means we have the capability to assess and deal with grading and drainage issues.
Customers hire us the first time because of our extensive training, our honesty, our quality product, our professional full design service. But we maintain a working relationship over the years because of the quality and integrity of our work.
We can help you with anything from landscape design to plant selection to pool installation to outdoor kitchens to interlock and stone installation and everything in between including ongoing maintenance.
We are unique because of our passion for creating beautiful spaces that service our clients.
Our staff is as passionate as we are about what we do. We are constantly told how pleased our clients are to have our staff at their homes. They are polite, take pride in their work, and keep the site clean as possible even during construction process.
Proud of our industry, we take pride in how we present ourselves by having all our staff wear identifiable uniforms. Our equipment and trucks are all well kept and bear our company name. And we take pride in our job sites and keep them tidy throughout the building process.
We are unique because we are customer service driven - and our passion for creating beautiful spaces that service our clients. We want our clients to fall in love with their homes all over again.
We stay in touch with the changing trends in landscapes (we stay current globally with what is going on in the landscaping field), innovative with our designs, we refuse to copy what we have done in the past). We are passionate in what we do (love the creative process). Feel we are an instrument in bringing about our clients vision & needs. Knowing this requires excellent communication and more importantly listening skills.
We work as greenly as we can –we do not use pesticides– opting for natural remedies and try and reintroduce health by careful pruning, natural fertilizers and careful observation of what we know is needed for the species in concern or site we are dealing with. We protect the site we are working on to prevent damage to existing plant material (example: large mature trees with heavy machinery moving over root zone need protection to prevent possible death of the tree).

Hi Ian, I just wanted to reiterate what I said to you in person. The job you have done on our entrance and driveway far exceeds our expectations. Also, I was very impressed with all of your staff working onsite.
Ian was very prompt in replying. He came and talked and planned extensively with us. Once the crew began work they were most considerate of our property.
Got a question, we can help!
